Expanded Warehouse Facility Boosts our Inventory Management Capability

In November 2015 R&D Solutions made a long-awaited move to a new warehouse and workshop facility, giving us the capacity to better respond to our customers’ growing needs and further enhancing our inventory management capability.

The facility, in Welshpool, provides us with over 2,000 sqm of space, with two overhead cranes and enhanced storage for parts and equipment. The facility has been refurbished to meet the high expectations of our customers and the wider oil and gas industry and provide safety and comfort to the staff working there. For good measure, we’ve invested in an additional, bigger forklift, too, to further our ability to cope with increased customer demand.

According to Managing Partner, Russell Furner, the facility gives R&D Solutions just what it was missing.

“With 2,000 square metres there is no doubt the facilities offer more capability both for R&D Solutions and our customers,” he said.

“The overhead cranes offer more flexibility for unloading and general day to day workshop operations. Combined with the new forklift, with its increased lift capacity, we’re much better prepared to service our customer base.”
